Poljodar tim d.o.o. is a privately-owned agricultural company headquartered in Daruvar. The company's primary activities are cereal production, seed processing, corn milling, services, and trade. The 1,500-hectare estate that underpins these operations sits in Poilovlje, at the far western edge of Slavonia, about twenty kilometres from Daruvar. With patience and persistence, for three decades we have worked on developing the land — drainage, grading, the build-out of roads and water channels. The result is a fully engineered infrastructure. This part of Poilovlje suffers neither drought nor flooding; it is protected on both fronts. As the new century began, we took another major development step. In 2001 we invested in a continuous-flow dryer, silos, a corn mill, seed processing, and a control laboratory. In 2004 we built a dedicated seed-drying line, new warehousing, and equipped the processing floor with the most modern technology available. Today, Poljodar tim is a modern seed company — and thanks to highly-developed production technology and seed-processing equipment, unique in this part of Croatia. Our in-house laboratory tests grain and seed quality at the highest level.
