CTS 3911 is the earliest hybrid in the range. The ear is very large, protected by a loose husk that dries fast. The plant is tall, vigorous, and stays green into late autumn — making it an outstanding silage candidate in higher-altitude regions.
Because of the tall habit we recommend 70 thousand plants per ha in hillier regions and 76 thousand in lower-altitude, wetter conditions.
